Boomsling Labs - 6 Month Rotational Showcase

Boomsling Labs (located in Sawyer Yards Building B) is accepting submissions from Sawyer Yards artists to temporarily display artworks in the office building for a period of 6 months. As a startup/small business incubator in Sawyer Yards that opened their doors a few weeks ago, Boomsling is offering artists a free, high-visiblity space to display work to a growing community of founders, creatives, and doers as well as the guests they bring to the space. As we grow our calendar, it's becoming packed with events—open houses, speaker nights, investor socials, and more—art will be seen by a growing number of curious, culture-hungry Houstonians each month.

Specifically we are looking for 10 pieces, between A4 and 5x10 ft. We are mostly interested in more colorful pieces as we are loosely sticking to a 1960s/mid century modern interior design scheme (i.e. vintage comics and magazine covers, homages to Houston culture or startup energy, colorful, bold, and story-rich pieces that ignite conversation). We are interested in all forms of media, including paintings, drawings, photography, etc.
